With funding from Department of Justice (Assets Recovery Community Scheme) we were able to deliver a three month Diversionary and Intergenerational project for 41 young people from Braniel and Belvoir.
The Mind Yourself project was funded by the CLEAR Project and supported by the Public Health Agency. Through the project, Dreamscheme provided opportunities for young people to benefit from mentoring, mental health awareness workshops and a programme of ‘Take 5 steps to wellbeing’ activities.
As part of our 2017 Intervention programme, funded by Education Authority, young people from Braniel and Belvoir enjoyed a range of diversionary and developmental activities during the summer, including a fantastic residential trip to Tollymore Outdoor Centre.
Within Dreamscheme, we remained as busy as ever. So much planning went into this summer, so that we could make it our most amazing and memorable summer to date. In this post, we will reflect on the many activites, trips, workshops and summer schemes that we did over the summer.
